Course Overview
This training will provide tools in order to recognize life-threatening bleeding in someone who is injured, and skills to help save a life.
Wisconsin Safety Council with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office is leading the effort to save lives by teaching individuals how to provide vital initial response to stop uncontrolled bleeding in emergency situations.
The Bleeding Control Basics course gives participants the necessary tools to become an empowered initial responder. During the FREE Stop the Bleed training, you will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and appropriate ways to stop the bleeding.
The help given by an immediate responder can often make the difference between life and death, even before professional rescuers arrive. With the right training, YOU can help save lives!

Free to WSC/WMC members only. (2 representatives per company please as seats are limited).
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Attend this course and earn .2 CEUs from the Wisconsin Safety Council.
